Just in time for gifting, here a few things I’ve spotted for some great ideas that are trending for everyone on your list!
For the cooks on your list
The Little Hottie from Great Jones is as cute as it is functional. It’s perfect for the hostess on your list and comes in adorable patterns and an assortment of sizes. Blueberry is my favorite but see for yourself.
I’m a sucker for Le Creuset and it’s not just the beautiful designer colors, it’s the functionality. One-pot meals are a weekend favorite in our house and make clean-up so simple. Check out the range of colors (and get one for yourself too):
Pet Lovers
As you know, we have dogs – and we kill a vacuum cleaner every year trying to stay ahead of the pet hair. This little Shark has a HEPA filter and works on hardwood and carpet for quick clean-ups before your holiday guests arrive.
Snuggling up at home
Who doesn’t love movie night with popcorn during a cold winter’s night. This new microwave popcorn popper comes in a ton of fun colors and two sizes making it the perfect gift for the college student or a family.
You’ll need something to snuggle under. We love this throw, not just for its snuggle factor but also the fun prints. The penguin is my personal favorite and this gift works for anyone! Students, kids, older loved ones, and your friends!
And while we’re on the topic of cozy, everyone loves pretty flannel sheets! And Pottery Barn has them on sale now. I love the plaids for the holidays and beyond, but there are plenty of patterns and sizes just in time for winter.
Who’s on your little list?
Kids can be tough in our time of screens and devices. I like to move away from high tech to high touch and my creative sensibility always leans toward art and books! I don’t know a kid who wouldn’t love this all-in-one crayon and marker set from Crayola – I would love it too and have already purchased for a young man on my list!
Got a kiddo with a tough bedtime routine? I love Warmies because you can heat them up for snuggling (or chill them when there’s fever!) They are weighted and have a lavender scent that is soothing at bedtime. The cute characters make this bedtime buddy a sure thing!
Local Flavor
I love our Napa small businesses and support them any time I can. I’ve talked about Farmhouse Napa Valley before – I love the home décor and accessories there! If you have a friend that enjoys our beautiful Farmer’s Market, think about gifting this French Market Backpack. It’s stylish and lightweight and perfect for those weekly explorations of our local vendors. The store is on historic Clinton Street in Downtown Napa. Don’t miss the 3rd Annual Christmas Market on December 5th from 4-8 pm.
Give the gift of an experience at my other Downtown favorite, Bougie Candles. Did you know you can do a candle making class? Lisa is an awesome “chandler” and teacher. You can create your own signature scent and she’ll keep it on file for you. I did this with my daughters and we had such a good time. We love our candles!
It’s almost time for one of my favorite Napa events – the Napa County Landmarks Holiday Home Tour on December 13th. Give your favorite history or architecture buff tickets to see the Napa’s beautiful inns and the First Presbyterian Church all decked out for the holidays. We had our home on tour last year and really enjoyed the event and the warm hospitality!
And here’s a new friend of Dalia Staging – Valley of the Moon Soap Company! We’re adding these beautiful soaps to our welcome baskets in 2026. Amanda Miller is an artisan soap maker we met at the Farmer’s Market. Her soaps smell so good and are visually beautiful. Find her at Napa’s Farmer’s Market or on her Etsy shop! It’s the perfect stocking stuffer.
